This year has been tough on everyone! lock down regulations have up and down, schooling was being done at home. All parents especially the mothers were put under stress to become educators and brush up on their own skills and education.
I took an early morning walk around Basingstoke’s hospital where I was born, and also my son. we had been busy painting and decorating this Basingstone the week before. luckily my son was with his mother for week so I knew they would have a nice day and make her feel special. We made a plan that I’d drop it on the doorstep and he’d tell her to check when they woke.
We have had our differences in the past, we still do! but as separated parents, from a rocky relationship.. I am so thankful to her for managing and working with me to work for the best of our son and our own futures!
All mums were outstanding and A* Amazing in 2021 like never before!!
Lets hope the years of global crisis has taught us all to work together, have respect for one and other.
