what an epic event that was!
Despite the unpredictable rain the event went really well. Great to see so many people come out to support and enjoy a fun filled day together. There was so much delicious food and refreshment stands, crafting areas, hand made items, clothing, fabric, jewelry and face painting stands and lots of loud music. I was soaked through by the end of the event but I must admit I do like seeing how well my mix can cope in such torrential conditions. It was chucking it down at times yet the big wibble and wobbling bubbles still formed and floated away. Luckily there were only a few bumped heads and slips! All the children listened and respected my performance so a big thank you to guys! the adults and other guests just kept arriving.
A great English bank holiday festival, with a hint of mud!
Hayley my hoola-hooper friend did an amazing job, she stuck it out and continued to battled with the weather. Hayley defiantly had the Wow factor with the fire! Great to see the older children and adults having ago with the hoola-hoops right in front of the main stage and performing with us, I saw some funky dad dancing going on that’s for sure!
REVEIW FROM EVENT- Jane. Thank you so much for yesterday, you were a very bright part of our very special event which was so nearly drowned by terrible weather! You made a huge difference to the day and so many people have commented on your unfailing cheerfulness- not to mention skill. the children had the time of their lives! we hope you will join us again next year.
