I first performed for this school a few months ago. It was a very religious school and had very good security. I’d performed for the younger years and gave both classes an hour show in the playground and then went to each classroom and made sure every child went inside one. On this visit I was asked to do it for the older classes. I think I had 90 children to contend with. It didn’t go well unfortunately. I was very limited in space due to lots of climbing frames and obstacles around their courtyard. I couldn’t use the stakes for my rope to help keep them back with it being tarmac, There was no option but to stop. They had a play and burnt off their energy and I then went round to every class. It was very disappointing to have to stop but I have had an idea to make it work and hopefully will return in the future to try it.
