I checked my letterbox the other day to see what mail I had. Most were bills but there was one which was hand written but looked important. I opened it to find a warm personal letter from David Leeks who is the Mayor of Basingstoke. He wanted to show his appreciation and thank me for all the fun I have helped to create at events over the last year. We’ve bumped into each other numerous times and its been a running joke between us. He’s seen me in the pouring rain when no other entertainment has turned up, fighting with the elements to create smiles. Also at the Variety show and trying to create that Wow factor.
It’s been a real struggle to get Bubbles Man off the ground and I’ve not felt supported by Basingstoke at all. getting a simple letter, good feedback or even a returning customer makes me feel so positive. I’ve got so many bizarre story’s and places bubbles has taken me, This is something I will treasure!
